In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014, Delhi Daredevils were 103 for four in 15 overs against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Feroz Shah Kotla and the Kolkata bowlers have wrested back the advantage with a string of tidy overs.
Dinesh Karthik was going strong with with a flurry of boundaries of Jacques Kallis’s over but Shakib put the brakes on the scoring and got rid of the dangerous Karthik after a top edge landed safely in the hands of Kallis. Instead of Kedar Jadhav, it was veteran all-rounder who came to the crease and played a lovely flick of Umesh Yadav for a boundary. Vinay Kumar bowled the 14th over and he started of well with a decent line and the batsmen couldn’t pick him for boundaries easily — only five singles came of the over.
Earlier, Delhi had won the toss and elected to bat first at the Feroz Shah Kotla. Kolkata made a change to their side as Jacques Kallis returned to the side in place of Andre Russell. Delhi have made a change as well as Siddharth Kaul in place of Jaydev Unadkat.
