With just five overs remaining in their innings, Kolkata Knight Riders are placed at 112 for the loss of three wickets against Delhi Daredevils in their IPL 2014 encounter at Dubai.

After Manish Pandey lost his wicket trying hit Shahbaz Nadeem for a third consecutive boundary in the 11th over, Shakib Al Hasan joined Robin Uthappa, who after Pandey’s exit, has opened up his arms along with Shakib. Uthappa came down the wicket against James Neesham in the 15th over, and hit the most handsome six you would have seen in a long time. He followed that up with a classy four.

Earlier in the innings, having lost the two crucial wickets of Gautam Gambhir and Jacques Kallis early in the innings, KKR steadied their ship against a strong pace performance by the DD in their IPL 2014 encounter at Dubai, courtesy Pandey and Uthappa.

The two batsmen brought up their fifty partnership in the 10th over. Uthappa survived a spill by Jaydev Unadkat, while Pandey has not shown the same form he had in the first match till now.

DD started off well against KKR with Mohammed Shami dismissing Jacques Kallis for a golden duck in the sixth match of the Indian Premier League 2014 in Dubai. Nathan Coulter-Nile struck in his first over from the other end as well removing Gautam Gambhir.

Shami started off with a wide and then delivered a beautiful delivery which forced Kallis to play tentatively and the edge flew to Ross Taylor standing at second slip. Coulter0Nile struck in he next over when a legslip was placed deliberately and Gambhir flicked straight to him.

Though Delhi picked two quick wickets but Shami in particular was erratic delivering wides after wides. KKR skipper Gambhir had won the toss and put Delhi in to bowl.
