Kumar Sangakkara, the Sri Lankan wicketkeeper batsman became the first cricketer to affect 500 dismissals in One-Day International (ODI) Cricket. In the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 match against Scotland, Sangakkar achieved that milestone. In the 38th over of the Scotland innings, he took a ctah behin the stumps to dismiss Michael Leask. Sangakkara also got his fourth consecutive ODI century at Hobart against Scotland on Wednesday. So far batsmen have scored strings of three hundreds in a row, but Sanga is the first to make it four in a row. That it has come in the World Cup makes it that much more special. He also now owns the record for most number of centuries in a single World Cup event as three has been the previous record.
