After Sri Lankan veteran batsman Kumar Sangakkara, amassed more than 400 runs in a single Test match to take Sri Lanka to a lead of 466 runs, they declared their second innings at 305 for the loss of four wickets. Bangladesh, the hosts ended the fourth day at 12 for the loss of no wickets and now require another 455 runs to win the game.
Earlier, Bangladesh were bowled out for 426 runs with Shamsur Rahman and Imrul Kayes notching up hundreds. Ajantha Mendis took six wickets for Sri Lanka.
