Good Evening, শুভ সন্ধ্যা! Hello and Welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of Match 36 of the ongoing Bangaladesh Premier League (BPL) 2016, between Barisal Bulls and Rajshahi Kings at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Thursday. We at Cricket Country will be bringing to you the live updates from this tie. Barisal Bulls have just not managed to get their team up and running in this edition, while Rajshahi Kings have had their ups and downs in BPL 2016 so far. Barisal are seated at the second last position in the table with just six points from ten games, registering just three wins. Rajshahi, on the other hand, are currently at the fifth spot, with 10 points from as many games registering five wins. This tie would be really important for Bulls if they stand any chance of qualifying in the top middle half of the table. Points table and team standings

Rajshahi Kings in their last match won the toss and elected to bat first, as they were off to a steady start, with the openers putting up 38 runs, before Mominul Haque fell for 20, and just eight runs later, he was followed by fellow opener Nurul Hasan for mere 17. As the score struck 50, it was the third wicket in the form of Sabbir Rahman, who fell for mere 8, while just 2 runs later, it was Samit Patel, who departed for mere 4.

At the score of 59, a couple of more wickets ion the form of Mehedi Hasan (7), and Sammy (0) fell, while the final wicket to fall in their innings was that of Farhad Reza for mere 13, at the score of 78, as it was James Franklin, who then played a steady knock of 44 off 31, thus guiding Rajshahi to 124 for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs, while Comilla’s Saifuddin claimed 3 for 12.
