Hello, good morning and welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket blog and updates of the fourth and final Test between India and Australia. This is Suvajit Mustafi, and I will be bringing you all the live cricket scores and posts from the third day of the series-decider at the gorgeous HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. The teams took stumps on Day Two with India behind Australia’s total by 52 runs. They have 4 wickets in hand and at crease are Wriddhiman Saha and Ravindra Jadeja. LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD: India vs Australia, 4th Test at Dharamsala

If Kuldeep Yadav on Day One hogged the spotlight, the second day of this closely-contested Test belonged to Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon. India won four back-to-back sessions after the mauling it received from Steven Smith and David Warner in the first. Lyon’s four-for brought Australia back in the contest. The first two sessions were won by India courtesy gritty displays from Cheteshwar Pujara and KL Rahul. Even captain Ajinkya Rahane contributed with a chancy 46.

Lyon dismissed Pujara, Karun Nair, Rahane and Ravichandran Ashwin in the final session of the second day’s play to stage Australia’s comeback. The Day Three of the contest will see one side holding the edge. The onus is on Ranchi centurion Saha and Jadeja to get India a lead, meanwhile Australian pacer with the new ball will hope to dismantle India’s lower-order soon. All-in-all, we are up for a riveting contest.
