In the most awaited fixture of the Asia Cup 2014, India will face arch-rivals Pakistan in what promises to be an exhilarating battle that will befit the occasion and magnitude that a battle between these two teams command. Both India and Pakistan have won and lost a game in the tournament so far.


India come into this match after a morale-sapping loss against Sri Lanka, a game that that the One Day International (ODI) champions should have won after running through the Sri Lankan middle order. Pakistan also lost their tie against the island nation and suffered a major scare against minnows Afghanistan before Umar Akmal saved them from the blushes.


Both teams are expected to name an unchanged lineup for this must-win encounter for historic rivals.
