India and South Africa are battling for control in the first Test at the Wanderers, Johannesburg. It has been a fantastic Test match so far as it has had all the elements for a fantastic game. Both sides have fought hard and haven’t let each other take the advantage.
The star for India on Day Two was Ishant Sharma with his three wickets. At the end of Day Two, South Africa are 67 runs behind India and that is mainly because of the rearguard action by Vernon Phialnder. They had lost many wickets earlier, but Philander hit back.
This is going to be a tough day for both sides and in all likelihood, it will help determine the result.
India 280 (Virat Kohli 119, Ajinkya Rahane 47; Vernon Philander 4 for 61, Morne Morkel 3 for 34) lead South Africa 213 for 6 (Graeme Smith 68, Vernon Philander 48*; Ishant Sharma 3 for 64, Mohammed Shami 2 for 47) by 67 runs.
