شام بخیر! Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog session of the fourth and final Twenty20 International (T20I) between Pakistan and West Indies at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad on Sunday. I am Ayush Gupta, and I will be bringing you all the live updates from this contest. West Indies, after trailing 2-0 in the series, made a smashing comeback by winning the third T20I last evening. Pakistan had an opportunity to seal the series, but West Indies’ collective bowling effort kept them at bay. Nonetheless, they still lead the series 2-1. With momentum in the hosts’ favor, the final encounter is expected to be a high-octane one. LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD: Pakistan vs West Indies, 4th T20I at Port of Spain

Pakistan, after winning the toss, elected to bat first. They wanted to make full use of the nature of the track. However, they got off to a poor start, losing Ahmed Shahzad and Imad Wasim early in their innings. But the duo of Babar Azam and Kamran Akmal steered the sinking ship and took them past the 50-run mark. The respite did not last long, though. Wicket of Kamran led to another batting collapse that saw Pakistan lose 6 wickets for 46 runs.

West Indies, chasing 139 run to win, got off to a dreadful start as well. They lost Chadwick Walton in the second over. But Evin Lewis came to the rescue and anchored the innings that saw miniscule vital contributions from only Marlon Samuels (18) and Jason Mohammed (17). Lewis, who deserved a hundred, got out on 91 off 51 inclusive of 4 fours and 9 sixes. West Indies, in the end, managed to win the third T20 by 7 wickets with 5 overs still remaining.

Lewis was adjudged Man of the Match for his knock of 91.
