PSL 2017: Points table & team standings
Quetta have always dominated over Karachi as they have won all the three games played between the two so far. The interesting bit is that Karachi have always batted first against Quetta and every time, Sarfraz and his co. chased down the targets easily. In their previous match, Karachi posted 159 and lost the game despite taking Quetta losing three wickets at the score of 30. Rillee Rossouw’s 53-ball 76 and Sarfraz’s captain’s knock of 56 runs helped Quetta chased the target in 19.1 overs.
Karachi’s two wins in this season came against the defending champions Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi. Their first win of the tournament came with the margin of 8 runs in a rain interrupted game. And their second win, which was against Peshawar came in their last game. Karachi won that game by 9 runs as they defended their total of 174. However, Quetta registered their wins of this season against Lahore Qalandars twice and Karachi once. Their only defeat came against the Misbah-ul-Haq led Islamabad.
