Good Morning, सुप्रभात! Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket coverage of Day Four of Round 9 of the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2016-17. Here you will get all the live cricket updates and scores of India’s premier domestic competition. This day will witness the remaining 10 teams clashing to reach the quarter-final stage of the tournament. Only 12 matches were held in this round as the 13th game between Jharkhand and Odisha at Thumba is scheduled to begin on December 15. Mumbai have already made it to the quarter-final from Group A, while Gujarat and Tamil Nadu are fighting to reach the next stage.

As for Group B, Jharkhand have been exceptional in this season while Karnataka are in safe position thrashing Maharashtra by 10 wickets. Meanwhile, three teams that include Odisha and Delhi are also in contention for the third spot. But the scenario is slightly different for Group C as only two teams can qualify for the quarter-final. Hyderabad might be ruling the table but they are in a precarious condition as they need 206 to win on the final day with 9 wickets to spare. With six other teams in contention for the second spot, Hyderabad are helpless. Andhra are second in the table and have set target of 219 against Hyderabad. Only time will tell how the equations change on the final day.
