Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the Super Six matches where Sri Lanka women will take on neighbours Bangladesh women. Also South Africa women lock horns with Ireland women. In this ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier 2017, India, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Ireland qualified for the Super Six stages. Out of these 6 teams, India and South Africa have sealed the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 spot as they defeated Bangladesh and Sri Lanka respectively. Sri Lanka stand on the verge of sealing their spot but will have to emerge victorious in today’s fixture against Bangladesh.

The Super Six game between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be a crucial one for both teams. This game is expected to yield some firecrackers as both teams are evenly contested, but Sri Lanka will still hold the upper hand as they have the advantage of playing in their home conditions. Sri Lanka skipper Inoka Ranaweera will play a major role in this clash as she has been the best for the hosts when it comes to taking wickets.

On the other hand, the Super Six clash between South Africa and Ireland is most likely to be a one-sided affair for the team from South Africa. They have lost only one match in the Super Six stage – against India, but have come back hard to win their next games. South Africa captain Dane van Niekerk has led her side from the front, having taken 10 wickets in the tournament so far.
