Sri Lanka and South Africa will fight it out on Day Three at the Sinhalese Sports Club, Colombo. Sri lanka put up 421 in the first innings with Mahela Jayawardene smashing 165, which is his 34th Test ton. Niroshan Dickwella scored 63. It was Jayawardene’s 11th Test ton at the venue and he is leaving a huge mark there.
South Africa were initially troubled as they had lost three wickets. But, Hashim Amla is still in the middle and there would be a lot of hopes from him. As a captain, there would be the pressure to play the captain’s innings. If South Africa re to get close to that total, Amla has to play a big role here. He started his Test captaincy well and there is more to look forward to.
