Hello! Ayubowan! Welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the second and final T20I between Sri Lanka and West Indies at R Premadasa stadium in Colombo on Wednesday. After losing the first T20 by 30 runs, West Indies will look to show resilience and win this encounter to salvage some pride. They miserably lost the Test and ODI series also. But in T20 cricket West Indies are a force to reckon with and won the World T20 in 2010. Sri Lanka are the reigning champions in T20s and considering present form they certainly have an upper hand in this match. This match is going to be interesting. The pitch may offer assistance to bowlers but the match can still be a high-scoring encounter like the last T20 played at Pallekele. In the first T20 Sri Lanka made a mammoth 215 and bowled out West Indies on 185. West Indies bowlers found it difficult to contain Sri Lankan batsmen early on. Also West Indies tail collapsed. If West Indies wants to win this match, they need to take early wickets and bowl economically at the death. Also their lower-order needs to show more resistance. Sri Lanka will hope that Tillakaratne Dilshan repeats his last match’s blitzkrieg and spinner Sachithra Senanayke continues to enchant with his spin. West Indies need all-round performances from Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard and Darren Sammy. Sunil Narine picking important wickets and also being economical at the same time shall help West Indies in a long way.
