Zimbabwe and South Africa is playing a one-off Test series at Harare, which started on Saturday. It is a great opportunity for Zimbabwe as they are hosting world’s best Test side at this moment. South Africa fielded a strong eleven on the field. Zimbabwe managed to hold South Africa back in first three days. They will be confident in the start of fourth day.  Catch Live Scorecard of the match here.

On the first day,  Dale Steyn and Dane Piedt claimed four wickets apiece for South Africa, but Zimbabwe defied the odds as they batted out the first day of the one-off Test to reach stumps on 248 for nine. Top-ranked South Africa had been expected to rifle through ninth-ranked Zimbabwe after the hosts had won the toss and elected to bat, but came up against a determined side that was marshalled by captain Brendan Taylor’s 93.

In the day second day also the hosts played gutsy cricket. They managed to take four important wickets of South Africa and managed to control their run rate too. South Africa will resumed day three from 201 for four. None of their batsmen got to their century. For Zimbabwe John Nyumbu took five wickets in his debut. He became the second Zimbabwean to do so. It will be interesting to see how both the teams approach day four of this Test match at Harare.
