Rain could again delay the start of day three of the third Test at Edgbaston. But can the rain help Indians save the Test match. Indians struggled to get wickets on second day as the openers Alastair Cook and Andrew Strauss grinded the Indian bowling in the first session before Andrew Strauss was dismissed by Amit Mishra.
Apart from Praveen Kumar, no other Indian bowler looked to contain runs. Kumar was most successful bowler with two wickets. Indian bowlers were also guilty of bowling too many extra deliveries with Mishra bowling four no balls in two overs.
Indian fans will be expecting Indian bowlers would come up with a miraculous spell, and get some early wickets or else the match will soon slip from India’s hands.
