India is 22 runs away from a victory over West Indies in the first Test at Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi on day four as Sachin Tendulkar failed to reach the milestone of hundred hundreds.
Continuing from Tuesday, India lost the wicket of Rahul Dravid for 31 runs. Sachin Tendulkar was accompanied by VVS Laxman who looked in a hurry to chase the 276-run target. But Bishoo denied Tendulkar to achieve his historical feat of 100 hundreds as he was trapped leg before wicket on 76 runs.
Earlier India had the upper hand at the close of day on Tuesday evening after Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid negotiated the West Indies bowlers on a difficult pitch to move to 152 for two and inch closer to the victory target of 276 in the first Test.
Laxman is now accompanied by Yuvraj Singh as India reach 254 for 4 at lunch.
