Sri Lanka have a task on their hands on the fourth day of the first Test against South Africa. They trail South Africa by 172 runs and have only one wicket left in the bank. Sri Lanka could only make 283 runs for the loss of nine wickets on the fourth day in response ot South Africa’s score of 455 runs on the board. For South Africa, Dale Steyn was in great form as he took five wickets. Morne Morkel too bowled with good pace and troubled the Sri Lankan batsmen. Catch the Live Scorecard of the match here

When it comes to Sri Lanka, Angelo Mathews the captain of the side was in fine form. He made 89. Upul Tharanga also did well by scoring 83 runs. Rest of them though, flopped and that didn’t help Sri Lanka. Now, they have to hope for the last pair to hold for sometime and frustrate the Proteas. With the ball in hand, Sri Lanka will look to bowl defensive and make sure that South Africa won’t score quickly. It may not be easy to score runs on the fourth day, as the track would have got slower. Hopefully, it will turn out to be an interesting day’s play.Catch the Live Blog of the match here
