After losing the first One-Day International (ODI) match by a huge margin, Sri Lankacame back strong to beat South Africa by 87 runs in the second match Pallekele on Wednesday. With the series levelled at 1-1, Sri Lanka will be aiming to keep up the winning momentum and seal the series in the final ODI match against an inconsistent South Africa at Hambantota on Saturday.

For South Africa, Hashim Amla has been on top form with back-to-back centuries. He scored 109 in 1st ODI and 101 in the 2nd ODI. AB de Villiers scored 75 in the first match but couldn’t transform his 29 into a big number in the second match. Apart from the duo, almost the whole batting order failed miserably at Pallekele.
