Zimbabwe will face South Africa in the first ODI of the three match Test series today (August 17). South Africa will be without the services of their usual pace attack as Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel and Vernon Philander have been rested.

Zimbabwe, who were recently beaten by South Africa in a solitary Test match by nine wickets, will look to put up a better show in the ODIs. Both teams will use the series to get some much needed practice, and strike the right team balance ahead of ICC World Cup 2015.

After the three-match series, both teams will also participate in a Triangular series which will also feature Australia.
