The Play was called off on the Third day of first Test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan at Galle due to heavy rain. Though the official closing time was 6 pm but because of heavy rain late in the day, the ground was flooded and no more play is possible on Friday. Sri Lanka just lost one wicket in the whole day and is in the driver’s seat. Pakistan will have to take early wickets at the start of fourth day to get back in the game.

Kumar Sangakkara’s good form continues as he reached his 37th century in Test match cricket against Pakistan at Galle. Now he has gone past Rahul Dravid in terms of Test centuries. He also has the record of most hundreds against Pakistan (10). Now he is fourth on the all time list. Only Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting and Kallis above him. He celebrated this moment with his mate Mahle Jayawardene. Catch Live Streaming of the match at tensports.com and live action on TenSports.

There were plenty of half-chances but the ball just wouldn’t carry to the fielders. Silva, in particular lived dangerously and was his usual scrappy self till dusk. Sangakkara has more runs against Pakistan in Test cricket than any other player and looked steady, composed and solid.
