West Indies trounced Bangladesh by runs in the second One-Day International (ODI) at at St George’s, Grenada. With the win, West Indies also took the series 2-0 with one match to play. Having been set a target of 248, Bangladesh crashed and burned in reply. Sunil Narine and Kemar Roach ran through the middle order, as Bangladesh went through a horror spell in which they lost five wickets for 10 runs in a matter of a few overs.

Tamim Iqbal looked good for his 37, but one after another Bangladesh batsman played loosely as the West Indian pacers kept pegging away at the wickets. The introduction of Narine caused an immediate impact, though, as he struck twice in two balls to remove Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah. They lost their last seven wickets for just 13 runs in the process. Ultimately, Tamim ended up scoring more than half the runs Bangladesh managed to score.
