Mahela Jayawardene dismissed in the first over of the day’s play

Sri Lanka batsman Mahela Jayawardene was dismissed in the very first over of Day 4. Junaid Khan bowled beuatifully to set him up. Sri Lanka looked nervous from the first ball as Kumar Sangakkara tried to hoik one over the point but unfortunately went straight to Abdur Rehman who dropped the catch.
Jayawardene was deceived by Junaid Khan as he bowled a slower delivery on the middle and leg stump. He was caught in front of the stumps. Umpire did not give him out as all the Pakistani players went up appealing. Pakistan skipper made the right decision to challenge the decision and eben tually the on-field umpire had to alter his decision.
On the other Sangakkara has been extremely watchful after being dropped on the very first ball of Day 4. After Jayawardene’s dismissal, Sri Lanka skipper Angelo Mathews came out to bat. Sri Lanka still trailimng by a 175 runs with seven wicktes in hand in the first innings.
