Yuvraj Singh rescued the Rest of the World team after Saeed Ajmal wrecked havoc into the opposition’s batting line-up, picking up four quick wickets.Yuvraj scored is on an unbeaten 101 from 115 balls. Peter Siddle is on an unbeaten 21 from 22 balls. He hit Sachin Tendulkar for a boundary towards deep midwicket to reach his century.
Sachin Tendulkar, the Marylebone Cricket Club captain has come on to bowl in the 41st over of their game against Rest of the World XI. His entry into the bowling was greeted with huge cheers by the crowd. They have been treated to some good batting by Yuvraj Singh, but now the focus was on Tendulkar. In 41 overs, RoW are 223 for six.
They were 68 for five at one stage but then he stitched a good partnership with Collingwood. Tendulkar almost had a wicket as one ball went through Peter Siddle’s legs. That would have certainly been reminiscent of Tendulkar’s act of dismissing Moin Khan at Multan in 2004.
