Rest of the World XI lost their first wicket against the Marylebone Cricket Club in their bicentenary encounter. However, Gilchrist has kept them going with some good shots and in seven over, they are 54 for one.
Shaun Tait came into bowl in the sixth over and Gilchrist smashed him for three boundaries. The first one was smashed over cover, then he drove one straight down the ground and then smashed it for a four over square-leg. Rest of the World XI’s half century came up in only the sixth over. But then, in the next over, Sehwag hit a four through fine leg and was then bowled by Lee. Tamim Iqbal came to bat thereafter.
