Michael Clarke launches cricket academy

Clarke will be part of the coaching staff himself and share his experience in international cricket.

Michael Clarke has started a cricket academy called Michael Clarke Cricket Academy (MCCA). The cricketer has started the academy with an aim of developing young cricketers so that they can compete at the international level.

 

Clarke himself will be part of the coaching staff, and will give youngsters advice using his experience in international cricket. He’ll be accompanied by Les Clarke, who was Michael’s coach and former Australian cricketer Beau Casson.

 

Michael Clarke has played 103 Test matches, 236 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 36 Twenty 20 Internationals (T20Is) for Australia. His performance in Tests is extremely impressive where he has scored 8240 runs at an average of 51.50.
