Pakistan Women are currently placed at No. 7 in ICC Women’s Team Rankings, ahead of Sri Lanka Women, Bangladesh Women, and Ireland Women, while Australia Women ace the table. This is the fourth time Pakistan Women will participate in the World Cup. In their maiden edition in 1997, they did not taste victory and ended at eleventh place. It was in 2009 that they beat Sri Lanka by 57 runs to open their account. However, they turned full circle in 2013, losing all matches.
