Moeen Ali registered his maiden five-wicket haul as India were left staring at a big defeat in the third Test match against England at Southampton. India were reduced to 154 for nine.

Earlier, India lost two wickets in quick succession in form of Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni early on the final day. India were reeling at 120 for six after 47 overs chasing 445 runs to win against England in the third Test match at Southampton.

Dhoni and Rohit were both caught behind by Jos Buttler off Anderson, who has been terrific this morning.

India were 112 for the loss of four wickets at stumps on Day 4. England will look to take six wickets to clinch victory and level series, while India will be looking to bat out the day in order to save the match.

Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma will be the key batsman for India and they need to bat for a long time if India has to save this match. It’ll be interesting to see whether the likes of MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja will play their natural game or play defensively given the need of the hour.

Moeen Ali will be crucial for England, as he was the man who took two of the four wickets in India’s second innings.
