Mohammad Asif set to feature in movie ‘India Mein Lahore’

Mohammad Asif, the Pakistan fast-bowler who is currently serving a ban for his involvement in spot-fixing during the Lord’s Test against England in 2010, has signed up for a role in a movie.
Express News reported that Asif will play an important character in the movie titled India Mein Lahore. The movie is said to be a co-production between an Indian and Pakistani production company and is a romantic comedy.
Asif was banned for his involvement in spot-fixing and was also sent to prison by a court in England. Since then, the pacer has tried to return to cricket and had also filed an appeal in the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland.
