Mohammad Hafeez has scored a half-century against Bangladesh in the eighth match of the Asia Cup 2014 at Mirpur. This is his 20th half-century in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad have guided Pakistan to 89 for no loss after 17 overs. Hafeez is batting on 50 and Shehzad is on 32.

Shakib Al Hasan scored a quick-fire 44 off 16 deliveries. This is the first time a score of 300-plus has been achieved in this Asia Cup.
Saeed Ajmal was the pick of the bowlers taking two wickets, but he gave away 61 runs.
