Istanbul ended their day on a rather sad note when three suicide bombers opened fire before blowing themselves up at the entrance of the main international airport on Tuesday. In this process, 50 innocent lives were killed while 60 are feared to be injured. Cricketers have always poured in their wishes or sympathised on various topics and global situations. When Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Irfan woke up to this heartning news in no time he sent across his sympathies across to the families and friends of the ones who have lost their lives. He mentioned, “My heart goes out to brothers and sisters in #Istanbul. Highly condemn this act of brutality. #PrayersForIstanbul” ALSO READ: 5 most memorable spells of Mohammad Irfan

Irfan recently celebrated his birthday on June 6. The 7-feet-11-inch cricketer has done reasonably well for his nation in these years while representing his side. His strength has of course been his height with which he gets an awkward bounce to dismantle the stumps of batsmen. He came into play when Mohammad Aamer and Mohammad Asif were banned for 5 years for spot fixing allegations. ALSO READ: Mohammad Irfan hopes Pakistani players will play in IPL

He has been decent with his current performances but has still not produced any exceptional spell for his side on a regular basis. He has been excluded from Pakistan’s tour of England, starting this July because of his under-achievements playing for his nation. Irfan will look to spend some time off the game and start afresh to play for his nation again. Pakistan will be playing their first Test against Pakistan at Lord’s on July 14, the same place where Aamer last played his Test cricket.
