MPCA to host AGM on August 29, to take call on biennial elections
MPCA will take a call on holding its biennial elections in on Monday's annual general meeting scheduled, against the backdrop of RM Lodha panel's advice.
Indore:Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) will take a call on holding its biennial elections in on Monday’s annual general meeting scheduled, against the backdrop of RM Lodha panel’s advice that the poll process should be put on hold as of now and the High Court rejecting a plea seeking stay on the polls. “We have taken the legal opinion on the Lodha Panel‘s view, and we will place the entire facts before AGM. The AGM will take a call on whether to go ahead with the polls or not,” MPCA CEO, Rohit Pandit told PTI on Sunday. Experts feel that if Monday’s AGM sticks to the Panel’s view and decides against holding elections, then, as per MPCA constitution, the existing body will remain in place until new office bearers are elected.
