Former India skipper, MS Dhoni has stressed upon India’s  positives in the ongoing series against Test. India have lost the series, 0-2 and will look to notch up a win at Johannesburg, a venue where they are yet to lose a Test. Dhoni has lauded India’s bowling.

PTI reported Dhoni as saying, “I would say look at the positives. To win a Test match you need 20 wickets and we have taken 20 wickets. If you can’t take 20 wickets, what is the next thing? You look to draw a Test match.”

He further added that taking 20 wickets enables a side to win matches than to just play for a draw. He explained, “How you can draw a Test match is by giving less runs and by scoring runs. If you are not able to get 20 wickets, you can’t win a Test match irrespective of whether you are playing in India or you are playing outside. But that is the big positive. We are taking 20 wickets.”

India lost the Cape Town Test by 72 runs, while at Centurion was even worse; losing by 135 runs. The third and final Test will be played on January 24 at Wanderers. Dhoni will be back with India for the limited-overs leg. India play 5-ODIs and 3 T20Is against South Africa.
