Yuvraj’s century at the Ranji Trophy match against was not good enough to earn him a contract. Gambhir on the other hand last played a match when he represented India during their Test series away in England.
India are currently playing a Test series against Australia and will play a tri-series featuring England and Australia down under. They will play the ICC World Cup 2015, scheduled to start from February 14, co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
