After conceding a 122-run lead to defending champions Mumbai, Maharashtra fought back handsomely to send back half the Mumbai batting in a matter of few overs to leave the home side reeling at 60 for five. Suryakumar Yadav is batting on 22 while Iqbal Abdulla is on 12 runs.
Mumbai had bowled out Maharahstra for 280 runs. In their second essay, Samad Fallah and Anupam Sanklecha‘s fine display of swing bowling rattled Mumbai. Their batting mainstay Wasim Jaffer was dismissed for a duck. Another batsmen to be out for a duck was Abhishek Nayar gone first ball. Both the wickets were bagged by Sanklecha.
Fallah took the wickets of Aditya Tare and Kaustubh Pawar.
