Mumbai win the semi-final by six wickets. Karthik hits the low full-toss from Simmons over covers for a six. Mumbai wins the match comfortably. They now setup the final clash with the Rajasthan Royals.
Karthik flicks Rampaul over square-leg for a six. The next ball is a genuine edge that flies towards the right of ‘keeper Ramdin. Eleven runs have come off the over. Mumbai need three of the final over.
Thirteen have come off the Nevin Stewart over. Rohit goes for a pull and the ball sails over square-leg. Karthik slashes the wide delivery hard past backward point for a boundary. Seventeen runs are needed from the final three overs.
Rohit and Karthik survive six deliveries from Narine. Five runs have come of the over. Narine oversteps off the fourth delivery but concedes only a single from the free-hit. So Mumbai need 30 off 24 balls.
Rohit immediately attacks Ottley and carts him down the ground for a huge six. That brings down the required run-rate down. The final ball of the delivery is caressed through the covers by Rohit. He attacks Ottley. Still Narine’s 12 deliveries are the key in this game.
Badree bowls a tad short to Karthik who punches the delivery past covers for boundary. Six runs have come off the over. Mumbai need a good partnership here.

Sunil Narine gets Ambati Rayudu caught behind off a carrom ball. Dwayne Smith is befuddled with the one that goes away. The ball goes between ‘keeper and the first slip. Smith plays an awful slog off the final delivery. The ball misses the bat and Trinidad are right back.
Smith goes to his half-century with a six down the ground. This fifty has been special. Tendulkar goes for 35 caught behind off Simmons. The start given by Mumbai openers has been brilliant. Narine still has three overs to go. Will T&T come back in the game?
Smith has hit the final ball of the over off Nevin Stewart to the left of backward point. The ball races away to the boundary. Seven runs have come off the over. Tendulkar tries to breakfree but he misses twice. Mumbai are off to a great start.
Lendl Simmons into the attack filling in the overs which would have been bowled by Rayad Emrit. Smith smashes the first ball over mid-wicket for a four. Tendulkar late-cuts the third ball for a boundary. Mumbai have got ten off Simmons’s first over.
Tendulkar is struggling just a bit. He tried to hit the ball too hard. The straight ball was flicked and leading edge fell just short of mid-on. A straight drive off Rampaul turned back the clock. What a shot. Tendulkar misses the final two balls. Five runs come off the over.
A quiet first over from Trinidad leg-spinner Samuel Badree. Tendulkar scores three off two balls while Smith scores two from four balls. Badree didn’t get appreciable amount of turn but he is a wicket to wicket type of bowler.
It looks like Rayad Emrit has dislocated his shoulder. He falls down off the last ball trying to cut the second run but he took a blow on his shoulder.

Coulter-Nile bowls a yorker length delivery to Pooran and he attempts to play a reverse dab off it and misses it. The second ball was a slower ball which was mistimed and caught by Rayudu at long-off. Coulter-Nile concedes only six off the final over. Will Mumbai chase 154 and challenge Rajasthan Royals on Sunday?
Dhawan has been mixing his deliveries to Pooran who goes for pre-meditated scoop shots. He fails to ge the ball past Dinesh Karthik the first time but later gets two. Ottaley smashes Dhawan for a six over long-off and gets an inside-edge past short fine-leg for a boundary. Sixteen runs have come off it. Trinidad are closing in on 150.
Pooran smashes Coulter-Nile for a six over long-on. The ball was on good length but Pooran hits a baseball-like shot. Coulter-Nile returns well bowling a good yorker length. Nine runs have come off the over.
Kieron Pollard is mixing his deliveries. The slower deliveries are bamboozling Pooran and Ottley. Pollard conceded four off the first five deliveries. The sixth ball was bowled on the pads and Ottley gives it direction past short fine-leg for a boundary. Eight have come off the over.
Mitchell Johnson has been welcomed to the bowling crease with a boundary over point. This has been an off-day for the Australian bowler. This was a fifth boundary conceded in this match not to forget the one six that was hit over point by Lewis. Johnson comes round the wicket and dismisses Ramdin with a slower delivery. Ramdin misses and Johnson hits.
Ojha concedes four off the 15th over. Trinidad are struggling against the slow bowling in the middle overs. The run-rate has fallen just a little bit. With seven wickets in hand it will be interesting to see how much they will get.

Pollard dismisses Evin Lewis off the first delivery of his second spell. Lewis tried to work the ball towards leg-side but it takes the edge off his bat and Pollard takes an easy caught and bowled. NIne runs have come off the over which includes three leg-byes.

Dhawan takes the pace off the ball and Lewis is struggling to time the ball. The slower delivery off the final ball was hit straight over the sight-screen for a massive six. Nine runs have come off the over.

Coulter-Nile comes into the attack and gives away only two runs. He has been Mumbai’s best bowler so far. The in-between length is befuddling the batsmen who are not getting any elavation to hit the shots. Four dot balls off the over. Fantastic stuff from the Australian bowler.

Lewis goes for a slog-sweep and he hits his fourth six. This hit is a 78m hit which has gone in the crowd over square-leg. Nine runs have come off this over. Trinidad are setting a solid base for the final assault.

Harbhajan completes his quota of four overs. Was a quiet over till Lewis cut the ball between point and cover for a boundary to get to his half-century.

Ojha picks up the wicket of Darren Bravo off his first delivery. The ball was missed by Bravo down the leg-side. He loses his balance and comes walking outside his crease. Karthik stumps Bravo. Mumbai get the second wicket.

Harbhajan beats Lewis in the air but the Trinidad opener goes for his shot. Pollard was under the delivery at long-off but the ball goes over him. The last ball was a flighted ball outside off-stump which was hit over long-off easily. Lewis is off to a great start.

Nathan Coulter Nile bowls an excellent three-run over. The good thing about the over was the incessant line around the off-stump — just back of length which didn’t allow the batsmen to free the arms. Lewis took a chance going for a shot over third-man but overall there were no freebies.

Rishi Dhawan is introduced into the attack. His rhythm looks good. He is running in and bowling with pace. Dhawan gives two off five deliveries before Lewis hits him straight over bowler’s head for a boundary. Six have come off the over.

Harbhajan is bowling a lot slower. Bravo hits a cover drive for a boundary and when Harbhajan throws the ball right up Bravo launches him over long-on for a massive six. Ten runs have come off the over. Trinidad have started well after loss of Simmons.

Evin Lewis prefers the area over the covers. Mitchell Johnson throws in the wide deliveries and Lewis continues slashing at them. Two boundaries have come in that area. Three boundaries have come off the over. One boundary was a needless throw from Kieron Pollard from backward point to non-striker’s end. The ball deviated after hitting the stumps and it beats the backup fielder Tendulkar who was at mid-on.

Lendl Simmons gets out for duck for the third time in the series. Harbhajan flights the ball and Simmons goes for a slog-sweep which goes straight in the hands of Dwayne Smith at deep mid-wicket. Harbhajan concedes two runs and gets a big scalp.

The first ball is a leg-bye for Lendl Simmons off Mitchell Johnson. He finds the edge of Evin Lewis’s bat and it goes past first slip. The fourth ball is short and wide and Lewis throws the kitchen sink at that. The ball clears the third-man boundary for the first six of the game. Trinidad have got off to a fast start.
Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and he has elected to bowl first. Mumbai have replaced Glenn Maxwell with Mitchell Johnson.
