Kolkata, Feb 6 (PTI) The National Cricket Club, a full time member of the BCCI, today elected Avishek Dalmiya as its president. The NCC also elected its office bearers at meeting which was held today in connection with their annual general meeting held on December 31. Also a joint-secretary in the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), Avishek will become the NCC head as the top post was lying vacant after his father Jagmohan Dalmiya’s demise.
The NCC had in its AGM elected a star-studded 21-member executive committee in former India captain and CAB president Sourav Ganguly among others. The NCC office bearers President: Sourav Ganguly; Vice Presidents: Manik Bhattacharya, Sumti Chand Bothra, Vivek Dalmiya; Secretary: Niraj Kumar Kajaria; Treasurer: Sourish Chakrabarty; Assistant Secretary: Shiv Kumar Bagla.
