Rohit Sharma shut the critics on Wednesday as he slammed 61-ball 89 to help India earn spot in the final of Nidahas Trophy 2018 defeating Bangladesh by 17 runs. He was also rewarded with Man of the Match. In the process, he added an unwanted record to his name. Rohit got to his fifty in 42 deliveries, the joint slowest T20I fifty. His slowest T20I fifty came off 44 deliveries which was against West Indies in 2014. Apart from this unwanted feat, Rohit also smashed 5 sixes, leaving Yuvraj Singh behind on the list of most sixes hit by an Indian in T20 Internationals. Sharma has 75 maximums now in the format, while Yuvraj has 74.
