Delhi  224 | Overs 44.4 | Bisht 54* OUT! Nehra 24 (13), Awana 1 (3), Suyal 0 (8)

Nehra continued to dazzle…with the bat! (Yes you read it right!). He hits two sixes off Chawla before giving a catch to Yuvraj Singh in the following over. India Blue were just two wickets away from victory and it took them just two more overs to wrap things up. Parvinder Awana was dismissed by Vinay Kumar. Meanwhile, Bisht brought up his half-century with a big six over point. A delivery later, Suyal is dismissed to hand the title to India Blue. What a performance this has been!

Delhi  191/7 | Overs 40 | Bisht 35*, A Nehra 11*  OUT! Sood 21 (31)

Bisht and Sood opt for the batting powerplay. Yuvraj brings back Rajpoot into the attack. The powerplay overs also bring back Bhuvneshwar Kumar who strikes to remove Sood. Pinch-hitter Ashish Nehra comes in at the fall of the wicket and slams a six off the first ball.

Delhi need 84 runs to win from the last 10 overs.

Delhi  159/6 | Overs 35 | Bisht 25*, Sood 12*

Punit Bisht and Varun Sood carred on got a few boundaries to their name. They added 26 runs in the next five overs. Delhi now require 116 runs to win from 15 overs.

Delhi  133/6 | Overs 30 | Bisht 8*, Sood 3*

Milind’s efforts went in vain when he failed to read a googly from Piyush Chawla in the following over. Chawla then came back in his next over to get rid of Bhatia to reduce Delhi to 123 for six.

By the end of 30 overs, Delhi were reduced to 133 for six.

Delhi  115/4 | Overs 25 | Milind Kumar 51*, Rajat Bhatia 21*

Milind Kumar brought up his half-century in the 25th over. Delhi’s total went past 50 and the duo kept their chase alive.

Delhi  94/4 | Overs 20 | Milind Kumar 37*, Rajat Bhatia 14*

Miling and Bhatia have done well not to lose their wicket here. 28 runs have been added in these five overs.

Delhi  66/4 | Overs 15 | Milind Kumar 20*, Rajat Bhatia 5*

Milind Kumar and Rajat Bhatia played cautiously and added 20 runs in the next five overs to take their side to 66 for four at the end of the 15th over.

Delhi  46/4 | Overs 10 | Milind Kumar 6*  OUT! Virat Kohli 23 (28), Virender Sehwag 5 (7)

Vinay Kumar sent back the dangerous Virender Sehwag in his very first over. Kohli was joined by Milind Kumar who has had a decent run in the series so far. Kohli, who was looking set to anchor his team’s reply, upped the ante by scoring three consecutive boundaries in an over by Vinay Kumar. However, that effort was undone in the very next delivery as a mix up between the two batsmen led to Kohli’s run out.

After 10 overs, Delhi were on 46 for four.

Delhi  22/2 | Overs 5 | Virat Kohli 10*, Virender Sehwag 1* OUT! Gambhir 4 (4), Unmukt 6 (11)

Bhuvneshwar Kumar strikes in his first over to send back Delhi opener Gautam Gambhir. Gambhir chased a full delivery bowled outside the off-stump and hit it straight to Manish Pandey at point. Virat Kohli came out to join Unmukt Chand.

Chand started well with a boundary in the second over but Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a peach-of-a-ball to get rid of him. The was pitched at good length and nipped back after pitching to go through Unmukt’s defence and castle the stumps.

Delhi were on 22 for two in five overs.

India Blue 274/9 | Overs 50 | R Vinay Kumar 17*

Piyush Chawla played an aggresive role towards the end of the innings as India Blue picked up 48 runs from the last five overs. Chawla finished on 42 to take the team to 274 for nine in 50 overs.

India Blue 226/6 | Overs 45 | Chawla 20*, Bhuvneshwar 2*  Bawne 37 (44)

Finally some acceleration from the India Blue batsmen. Piyush Chawla and Ankit Bawne get some boundaries going. 32 runs picked up from the set of five overs but Awana picked up the wicket of Bawne.

India Blue 194/5 | Overs 40 | Bawne 21*, Chawla 6*  OUT! Manish Pandey 62 ((78)

Bhatia picked up the crucial wicket of Pandey to have four wickets to his name in the 37th over. Pandey has perished to a slower delivery after a well-made half-century. He goes for 62 off 78.

India Blue edge closer to the 200-run mark.

India Blue reach 194 for five in 40 overs.

India Blue 167/4 | Overs 35 |  Manish Pandey 60*, Bawne 4*    OUT! Abhishek Nayar 12 (10)

Pandey brought up his half-century in the 31st over. Bhatia picked up his third wicket in the following over when he trapped Abhishek Nayar in front of the stumps. Ankit Bawne joined Pandey in the middle.

India Blue reach 167 for four in 35 overs.

India Blue 148/3 | Overs 30 |  Manish Pandey 49*, Abhishek Nayar 8* OUT! Yuvraj Singh 29 (40)

Bhatia struck for the second time in the game to remove the dangerous Yuvraj Singh. A length delivery pitched on the leg and straightening a bit, hit Yuvraj on the back pad to trap him plumb in front of the wicket. Replays suggests the ball may have pitched slightly outside the leg-stump. Yuvraj too was starting to look good before he had to walk back to the pavilion.

Manish Pandey, however, was in no mood to let the momentum slip away and slammed three boundaries in the next over.

India Blue reach 148 for three in 30 overs.

India Blue 78/2 | Overs 25 |  Manish Pandey 29*, Yuvraj Singh 16*

Manish Pandey and Yuvraj Singh begin to rebuild the innings. They take the team total past 100 at the end of 25 overs.

India Blue reach 102 for two in 25 overs.

India Blue 78/2 | Overs 20 |  Manish Pandey 13*, Yuvraj Singh 8* OUT! Akshath Reddy 22 (36)

Akshath Reddy followed his opening partner Naman Ojha and threw away what was looking like a solid start. Delhi’s Rajat Bhatia, known for his prowess of taking the pace off the ball, struck in the first ball of his spell. As expected, it was slower delivery that did the trick for Bhatia. It was a straight delivery that Reddy played to Virat Kohli at covers. Skipper Yuvraj Singh walked out next. The India Blue captain had a scratchy start as his first boundary came off an outside edge that flew past the wicketkeeper.

India Blue reach 78 for two in 20 overs.

India Blue 58/1 | Overs 15 | Akshath Reddy 21*, Manish Pandey 3*  OUT! Naman Ojha 33 (40)

After getting hit for a few boundaries by Ojha, Parwinder Awana had the last laugh as he dismissed him in the 12th over. Ojha played a length delivery on to his stumps to end his innings at 33. He was looking good, alas, couldn’t last longer. The wicket brought Manish Pandey to the crease.

India Blue reach 58 for one in 15 overs.

India Blue 47/0 | Overs 10 | Akshath Reddy 15*, Naman Ojha 31*

Naman Ojha did most of the scoring from the sixth over, scoring 24 off the 26 runs.He welcomed Parwinder Awana with a boundary in the latter’s first over and went to get two from the next.

India Blue reach 47 for no wicket in ten overs.

India Blue 21/0 | Overs 5 | Akshath Reddy 13*, Naman Ojha 7*

The India Blue openers Akshath Reddy and Naman Ojha started off on a cautious note. Delhi’s opening bowler Ashish Nehra starts off with a tidy maiden. Pawan Suyal shared the new ball from the other end.

Reddy got a move on in the third over as he pulled a short-pitched delivery to score the first boundary of the innings. Nehra came back with four dot deliveries before Reddy managed another boundary, this time a flick through mid-wicket.

In the following over, Ojha got some runs. He played a length delivery through covers off the back foot to score the first boundary of his innings.

India Blue reach 21 for no wicket in five overs.
