Pakistan head coach Waqar Younis expressed happiness over the team’s preparation for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.

The retired bowling legend, who was reappointed as the head coach of the team in June 2014, lauded the players for prioritising fitness in the ongoing training camp. This has made him hopeful of Pakistani success in Sri Lanka, as reported by The News International.

Younis has also backed his bowling unit by sending a message to the opponents to not take them lightly, as the pacers make up for the inexperience by natural talent.

Younis will be flying to Sri Lanka along with the rest of the team on 2nd August, where they will play 2 Tests and 3 One-Day Internationals.
