England came back strongly in the second Test against Pakistan at Leeds on Saturday. After losing the first Test at Lord’s inside four days last week, England shot out Pakistan for 174 in the first innings. Under fire pacers James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Chris Woakes claimed 3 wickets each to bowl out Pakistan. Pakistan were reduced to 79 for 8 at one stage before a 52-ball 56 from Shadab Khan rescued them.

England were 106 for 2 at stumps on Day One. Alastair Cook scored 46 before he was dismissed by Hasan Ali. Joe Root remained unbeaten on 29 at stumps. England trail by 68 run.
