Pakistan and England will go face-to-face in the second ODI of the five-match ODI series. Eoin Morgan and his men on the other hand played some excellent cricket and deserved to take a 1-0 lead. The bowlers and batsmen complimented each others’ efforts. While Alex Hales might have got out cheaply, his opening partner Jason Roy continued from where he left off in the ODI series against Sri Lanka.  He along with Joe Root put on an important partnership to steer England’s ship forward. Pakistan will have to raise their game, as their coach Mickey Arthur also stated after the match. They would like to put in a more collective performance. The seam bowlers Umar Gul, Mohammad Aamer and Wahab Riaz will have to be more threatening. Among the spinners Yasir Shah might return to the team for the second ODI.
