Kusal Perera has helped Sri Lanka get off to a good start in their run-chase of 261 against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2014 final at the Shere Bangla National Stadium. In seven overs, Sri Lanka are 40 for no loss.
In the fifth over, Mohammad Hafeez hit Perera on the pads, but it was going to miss the stumps. Umar Gul is struggling to find his line right. He has bowled on a length and Perera capitalised on that when he pulled across the line and smashed it through mid-wicket.
Perera then lofted Gul high over mid-off, but it was cut short of the boundary. The last ball was then pulled through square-leg for a four.
Hafeez was then punched through the covers for a four in the seventh over.
