Pakistan have hit backl after Sri Lanka were propelled to a good start by Kusal Perera in their Asia Cup 2014 final at Dhaka. However, Saeed Ajmal came back to take Perera as he danced down the track in the 11th over to have him stumped. Kumar Sangakkara was trapped leg-before off the first ball by Ajmal. In 10.2 overs, Sri lanka are 56 for two. Perera scored 42 off those.
Earlier, As the experiment with Mohammad Hafeez did not pay early dividends, Pakistan brought in Ajmal. He instantly started off with a maiden over. There was a huge shout for leg-before for Perera, but, it was there was a clear inside edge. Pakistan also got in Junaid Khan instead of Umar Gul in the attack.
In the tenth over, Junaid was pulled by Perera with brute force through mid-wicket. And then to make matters worse for Pakistan, Perera hit it in the air to deep square-leg. Sharjeel Khan caught it, but then touched the ropes and crossed over.
