Pakistan declared their innings in the lunch break after their top three batsmen scored half-centuries. The visitors started well as they were being very defensive against the fast attack from Pakistan. But against the run of play, Yasir Shah was called in by skipper Misbah-ul-Haq who was quickly rewarded as Leon Jhonson dragged the ball onto the stumps which was going down the leg side. It was little quicker from Yasir which the batsman couldn’ read and tried to sweep but mistimed the shot and the ball kissed his gloves and the middle and off stump were rattled eventually. Darren Bravo who walked in at No. 3 had lot riding on his shoulders as he has been the consistent batsman from the West Indian camp. He was letting the strike rotate as Brathwaite was playing a good aggressive innings on the other side. Just like the first wicket, the visitors lost Bravo in a soft manner. Rahat Ali bowled in a short and wide delivery which Bravo chased and tried clearing over the man at backward point. But he mistimed the shot and gave away easy catch to Mohammad Nawaz at backward point leg. READ: Pakistan vs West Indies, 2nd Test, Day 4, Lunch Report: Hosts’ extend their lead to 455

It seemed like the visitors were following the same track ,m just the way they did in the first innings. But Marlon Samuels and Brathwaite have handled the pressure really well. The opener Also got to his 11th Test half-century handling the responsibility well from one side wherein two important wickets fell on the other end. Samuels has looked calm and composed since the time he has come out to bat and both the SWest Indian batsmen will have to bat out this way if the want to avoid a defeat which looks very much likely on the cards.
