Rajasthan Royals off to solid start against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2014

Ajinkya Rahane and Karun Nair have helped Rajasthan Royals start solidly against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Sardar Patel Motera Stadium in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 clash. In the second over, which was bowled by Umesh Yadav, Karun Nair cut one behind point with all power for a four. He then flicked the next ball through the square-leg region, but Ryan ten Doeschate fielded it brilliantly to save four. Earlier, Kolkata had won the toss and chose to field. They made a big change to their line-up as ten Doeschate replaced Jacques Kallis and Piyush Chawla replaced Piyush Chawla. Rajasthan replaced Dhawal Kulkarni with Rahul Tewatia, and Tim Southee walked in place of Kane Richardson.
