Titans made a shaky start to their chase, reaching 35 for one after six overs against Dolphin in in their Ram Slam T20 Challenge semi-final at Kingsmead, Durban on Thursday. They lost captain Henry Davids in the third over. Heino Kuhn tried to provide their side a confident start, hitting a boundary in the second over.
But the loss in form of their captain hurt them badly as they found it hard to recover.
Earlier, David Miller‘s blitzkrieg and Cameron Delport‘s 34 helped Dolphins set a daunting target of 201 against Titans.
Asked to bat after losing the toss, Dolphins recovered well from 80 for four to post 200/4 from their allotted 20 overs. Miller swatted as many as nine sixes and six boundaries to score a rapid 93 not out off just 37 balls, putting his side in command against the Titans.
It was his knock that helped Dolphins recover from a spot of bother in the semi-final clash.
