In the final of Ram Slam Twenty20 (T20) played at Cape Town, Morne Van Wyk played a steady hand to take Dolphins to 94 for three. He was well supported by Daryn Smit for a brief period. He used that occasional sweep to good effect before getting out for 14. For Cobras, Justin Kemp the all-rounder and Dane Piedt the off-spinner bowled with control to keep the opposition in check.
For a while, Kemp used a mixture of slower ones and seam up deliveries on a track that was gripping a bit. He has been one of the main performers for Cobras in the tournament. In fact Van Wyk in frustration even tried a few hoicks across the line to take control of the proceedings. He finally came out of his shell to play a few shots off Kemp.
