Yuvraj Singh‘s dream run in Ranji Trophy 2014-15 continued on Monday, when he scored his second First-Class ton for Punjab, in his second Ranji Trophy game this season against Maharashtra at MCA Stadium, Gahunje, Pune. This was just his third innings of this season and previous two produced 60 and 130 runs respectably against Harayana. This was his 22nd First-Class hundred.
Yuvraj’s innings of 136 off 160 was decorated with 25 fours and one six. He maintained a healthy strike rate off 85 per 100 balls in that innings. The southpaw came to the wicket, when Punjab were in trouble at 54 for three. He along with Gurkeerat Mann did the damage control from there. Both put up a partnership 112 for the fourth wicket and pull their team out of danger. Mann made 57. Akshay Darekar finally got the price wicket of Yuvraj.
