West Indies all-rounder Ravi Rampaul tied the knot on June 8, as messages congratulating him started flowing in on the popular social networking website Twitter on June 9.

 

 

 

Rampaul has played 18 Tests, 85 One-Day Internationals and 22 Twenty20s for West Indies till now. He has also played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL).

 

Rampaul is the first fast bowler of Indian descent to represent West Indies at international level. He has been over time recognised as a capable pacer to lead the bowling attack in years to come. He made his ODI international debut in 2003 against Zimbabwe and Test debut in 2009 against Australia at Brisbane.

 

The 29-year-old has taken 49 Test wickets, 105 ODI wickets and 26 T20I wickets. He has registered four-wicket haul seven times in ODIs. He was a key member in the West Indies team which won the ICC World T20 2012 in Sri Lanka.
